and she is going round the mountain and she is covering up her tracks and she is going to the river with the wind howling at her back oh there she goes where the water flows with the buffaloes oh there she goes and she sleeps beneath the night sky with her best friend by her side and she rises like a new sun and she's roaming far and wide oh there she goes where the farmer sows where the wheat fields grow oh there she goes and this town called Macaria oh so sweetly calls her name blesses her with warmth and comfort and a life without restraint oh there she goes where the whiskey flows with the dancing shows oh there she goes and the old mans telling tall tales if you buy him another drink the piano is singing sad songs into the dark she sinks oh there she goes ...

Carry On 04:09
I'm gonna carry on I'm gonna carry on we stumbled through the night with cigarettes and change and spent the days in bed, I'm gonna carry on slumped on the couch we laughed so seriously you laid your head you're home, II'm gonna carry on the colours dried so bright and then they fade away up against the wall, I'm gonna carry on the sun goes down I'm heading back to town I'm gonna carry on I'm gonna carry on you opened up my eyes your teeth were stained with wine I smiled and said hello, I'm gonna carry on from the 7th floor we slowly drifted apart you lay beneath the sea, I'm gonna carry on the sun goes down I'm heading back to town I'm gonna carry on I'm gonna carry on wanderin' alone, drivin' back home the bourbon moon hangs low, one place left to go I'm gonna carry on I'm gonna carry on

we were lovers for more than a night a wild fire between us burned bright the flames they were crackling real high but every fire is destined to die and you opened up your heart there was nothing for you to hide but I stumbled into a wall deep down in the darkness inside we were lovers for more than a night got lost on the path of just right there is a dark cloud that hangs in the sky it’s pouring rain while we say our goodbyes and you opened up your heart there was nothing for you to hide but I stumbled into a wall deep down in the darkness inside and I know that you’ll be with another but I hope that he's hard to find and you’ll write another story 'bout the love that you left behind we were lovers for more than a night but loneliness she's a friend for life true blue and she knows your pain she's helping you get through it again and you opened up your heart there was nothing for you to hide but I stumbled into a wall deep down in the darkness inside

the Sun it is a-hiding and the Moon fell down drunk and the light don’t come through cuz' my hearts almost sunk and I’m your Mama’s old stove and the burners burn hot you're a cast iron skillet and you're fryin' up cod with two cloves of garlic and a teaspoon of salt and you like it more savoury ain’t nobodies fault puttin’ food on the table and we’re workin' real hard all the children are playin' outside in the yard the Sun it is a-hiding and the Moon fell down drunk and the light don’t get through cuz' my hearts almost sunk and I’m a rusty ol' banjo you're a perfect violin and I know so many love songs don’t know just where to begin pickin’ on a porch out on Rural #9 and there’s a warm summer breeze and it's mine all mine and nightfall she's a-comin' to be with me and she's a big ol' dog layin' at my feet the Sun it is a-hiding and the Moon fell down drunk and the light don’t get through cuz' my hearts almost sunk and I’m a little red wagon gettin’ pulled down the street and one wheel is broken but you still think I’m sweet and that tattered old dress that you pulled off your doll covers me like a blanket and I don’t know you at all and you leave me behind on your Daddy’s front lawn and I'm prayin’ for blue skies to come with the dawn
